Isabelle "Dolly" J. Tague

Isabelle J. “Dolly” (O'Dowd) Tague passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 93. Mrs. Tague enjoyed nature, long walks, history, the New Jersey seashore, her Bridge Club, and solving crossword puzzles. She was an avid sports fan, beginning with the Brooklyn Dodgers and later on the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. Dolly worked in Interior Design for over 20 years. She volunteered for numerous charities including Meals on Wheels and Marian’s Attic, both in King of Prussia. Dolly was a devoted member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia for over 50 years. An interest in yoga and eastern spirituality inspired the nickname of “Dolly Lama”. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. Born in Atlantic City, NJ on October 28, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John and Bella (Quinn) O'Dowd; and wife of the late James J. Tague, who died in 2010. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: James (Julie) Tague Jr., Christopher Tague and Brian Tague; a daughter, Patricia (James) Connolly; two grandchildren, James and Laura; two brothers, Frank (Barbara) O'Dowd and Gene (Rosemary) O'Dowd; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack (Dolores) O’Dowd and James (Teresa) O’Dowd; and two sisters, Mary O’Dowd and Kathleen (James) Ewing. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 9:15 to 10:15 am. Her Funeral Mass will follow at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA at 11:00 am; with Eulogy at 10:50 am. Masks and social distancing are required.
