Jacob P Thottungal

Jacob P. Thottungal Dr. Jacob P. Thottungal, 75, well loved Philadelphia physician passed away Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 at Thomas Jefferson University  Hospital. Dr. Thottungal was born in Kerala, India on August 31, 1936, the son of the late Paul and Brigitta  Thottungal. He was the husband of Diana  (Ehrlich) Thottungal, the father of Dr. James Thottungal and grandfather to Vincent Thottungal.
 
A memorial service is being planned at Saint Peter the Apostle church. One of the last of the old time family doctors, he gave all his patients his cell phone number and could be seen answering calls from his hospital bed when ill last year.
