Jacqueline "Easter" (Fraschetta) Bednar passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. She was 93. Mrs. Bednar was a resident of Swedeland, PA. She worked for the former Seedlings Day Care in Swedeland, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Easter enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born in Norristown, PA on April 6, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Florentine and Rose (Bonavita) Fraschetta. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Bednar, Jr., who died in 2000. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Bruce B. Bednar of King of Prussia, PA; four grandchildren: Jacqueline Moran (Bill), Stephen J. Bednar IV (Julie), Dianna L. Leigh (Bill) and Susan Bednar; five great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Hannah, Abigail, William and Noah; a sister, Mary Rosenberger of W. Norriton, PA; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Bednar of Blue Bell, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen J. Bednar III; daughter-in-law, Donna (Fonock) Bednar; seven brothers and one sister. Relatives & friends are invited to Easter's Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 10:30 am. Her viewing is Thursday from 9 to 10:20 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Easter's memory to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 and/or Einstein Hospital Hospice Unit, 559 W.
