James J. Buro

James J. Buro, age 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2019, surrounded by his family at his home in Audubon, PA. James was a longtime member of St. Teresa of Avila Parish. He worked as a principal at St. Gabriel’s Hall in Audubon for many years. James was born on August 18, 1940 to the late James and Gertrude (Fox) Buro. Surviving is his beloved wife of almost 40 years, Joan (Sluus) Buro; son, Jonathan Kraus (Susan); daughter, Laura Corson; three grandchildren, Ian Guenther, Emily Willey, and Melissa Kraus; and many other loving family members. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1260 S. Trooper Rd. Audubon, PA 19403 on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 8:45 to 9:45 am; followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’ memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
