James Robert Emery, Sr.

James “Jim” Robert Emery, Sr., 68, of Bensalem, suddenly passed away on Tuesday, December 21st, 2021, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 22, 1953, the son of the late Eleanor “Maude” Clara (McDade) and Charles E. Emery. Jim was born and raised in the Winchester Park section of Philadelphia, PA. For the better part of his life, he was the owner of Emery’s Service Center located at Harbison and Revere. For over 15 years he was an auto parts manager at BC Auto Parts. His favorite interests were cars, archery, hunting, and fishing. He really enjoyed watching his Philly sports teams while sitting in his recliner with his grandson. He is survived by his loving wife MaryAnn (Hetzer) Emery of 43 years, and devoted children – a daughter Kristin and sons James Jr (Carla) and Michael (Renee), and his grandson “best lil buddy” Caleb. Due to Covid, a private visitation will be held in his memory on Friday, December 31, 2021, at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date in 2022.
