James Joseph Garrity, Iii

James Joseph Garrity, III passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 65. Mr. Garrity worked as a Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin in King of Prussia until his retirement in 2010. He was an active member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia. James was also a member of the Legion of Mary and Mathletics Club, and he was a Scout Leader. Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 21, 1953, he was a son of the late James J. and Margaret E. (Schwartz) Garrity. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Alexandria (Juskiw) Garrity; a son, James J. (Samantha) Garrity, IV of Havertown, PA; three daughters: Cynthia “Cindy” (Keith) Casey of Bodentown, NJ, Elizabeth “Libby” (Jeff) McCampbell of Aston, PA and Diana (Sean) Vieria of Reston, VA; eight grandchildren: Therese, Lucy, Seamus, Cole, Kyle, Peter, Marin and Adam; five brothers: Thomas, Mark, John (Sharon), Patrick and Joseph (Paula) Garrity; a sister, Mary “Macie” (John) Schlernitzauer; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to James’ Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at11:00 am. His viewings are Friday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 am, at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James’ memory to the Boy Scouts of America, National Council, P.O. Box 152079, Irving, Texas 75015-2079.
