James J. Costello Jr.

Costello James J. Costello Jr. of Tacony. August 18, 2011 at age 85, Beloved husband of Doris E. (nee Thompson).  Loving Father of James 'Jay' Costello III and Kathy Costello.  Dear Grandfather of Carolyn, Jennifer, Justine, Jimmy IV and Jeanette.  Jim worked at Hurst Performance Inc. as a Traffic Manager for over 30 years.  He was president in 1981 & 1982 of Delta Nu Alpha Transportation Fraternity Bux-Mont Chapter # 296.  Jim was also a graduate of the Civilian Police Academy & was on the Police Advisory Council.  He was the founder & President of Radio Security.  Jim was also a DJ since the early 40's & went by 'Uncle Jim'  Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Monday 3-7 PM    at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. A viewing will also be held at Holy Innocents St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Tuesday from 9-10 AM where his Funeral Eucharist will be held at 10 AM.  Interment at Pine Grove Memorial Park in Hatboro, PA.
