James G. Kling

KLING JAMES G., age 77, on April 8, 2013. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Berry) of 55 years. Loving father of James J. (Celeste), Michael V. (Diane), Robert H. (Karen) and Jerry S. (Maria-Elena). Loving grand-father of Michael P., Ryan T., Erica Marie, Christopher M., Kara Margaret, Matthew J. and Jerry V. (age 1). He is survived by a brother Robert R. (Margaret) and dear sister-in- law Maria Berry. He is predeceased by his brother Harold C. and sister-in-law Marilyn. He is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Born and raised in Torresdale, attending St. Katherine of Siena Elementary School and a graduate of the Class of 1953 of Northeast Catholic High School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957. Following an honorable discharge, he resumed employ-ment with A&P Supermarkets transitioning to Super Fresh Supermarket until his retire-ment after 46 years of service. He was an active member of Local #1776 and an active member of N.E.C.H.S. Alumni Assn., recently serving 2 years as a board member. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing from THE WALTER J.
