James D. Mcguckin

McGuckin  James D. McGuckin, 66, of Bensalem, PA passed away Sunday, December 29th, 2013 suddenly, at his residence. James was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 13, 1947, a son of Virginia (McQuaid) McGuckin, of Philadelphia and the late James J. McGuckin. He served in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in the Vietnam War. He worked as a steamfitter and was a member of Steamfitters Local 420.  Jim was an avid Eagles and NASCAR racing fan and enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He is the loving Husband of Carol Craven, Beloved son of Virginia McQuaid McGuckin; Dear brother of Joseph, Kathleen Madden and Patricia Johnson (Kenneth).  He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews.     Family will receive relatives and friends on    Wednesday January 8, 2013 from 10-11:15 AM and his religious service will be at 11:30 AM at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home P.C. 6643-45 Torresdale Ave. Phila., PA 19135.  His Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
