James W. Meidinger

James W. Meidinger passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at his residence in Trooper, PA. He was 72. Mr. Meidinger worked for 45 years as an engineer in research and development for Lockheed Martin, until his retirement in 2000. James loved doing home repairs and auto repairs. He enjoyed bowling and belonged to the American Bowling Congress. He also enjoyed remote airplanes and was a member of the Valley Forge Signal Seekers. Mr. Meidinger was a US Army veteran, serving during the Cuban Crisis.Born in Peoria, ILL on June 2, 1937, he was a son of the late Arthur H. and Anna C. (Weber) Meidinger. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 47 years, Beverly J. (Stevens) Meidinger; two sons, Bruce J. Meidinger and his wife, Angela of Limerick, PA and Chad S. Meidinger and his wife, Victoria of Pottstown, PA; a daughter, Amber L. Ball and her husband, Gerard of Phoenixville, PA; six grandchildren: Shawn, Alyssa, Tyler, Andrew, Jennifer and Suzanne; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lyn Burrows. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 11:00am.
