James Senteneri

James “Jim” Senteneri, age 78, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2024 at the Hopsital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Jim was a resident of Philadelphia and a member of Our Lady of Calvary Catholic Church in Philadelphia. After retiring from the restaurant business, Jim worked as a security guard at Parx Casino. This was a job that he loved and found very fulfilling, but more than that, he loved everyone he worked with at Parx

Born in Philadelphia on January 22, 1945 he was a son of the late Peter and Conchetta (Orleno) Senteneri. Jim was the beloved husband of the late Carmella (Maglione) Senteneri.

Jim is survived by his loving family including two daughters, Danielle Senteneri and Renee Senteneri; three grandchildren, Zach Senteneri, Ryan Coughlin and Lila Coughlin; brother, Peter Senteneri; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Tony Senteneri and Frank Senteneri.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 9:30-10:50am at Our Lady of Calvary Catholic Church 11024 Knights Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154, with his Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00am. Inurnment will be private.
