James F. "Flash" Sheehan

James F. “Flash” Sheehan passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at his residence in Bridgeport, PA. He was 67. Flash was a graduate of Norristown High School, Class of 1969. He worked as a butcher for Thriftway Supermarket in King of Prussia, PA for many years. Flash was a member of the Teamsters Local #929. He enjoyed playing softball and watching baseball, especially the Chicago White Sox. Flash was an avid collector of all kinds of sports memorabilia. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 31, 1950, he was a son of Mary (Fillapone) Sheehan of Bridgeport, PA and the late Francis J. Sheehan. He was the husband of the late Donna M. Sheehan, who died in 2012. Surviving in addition to his mother are five brothers; two sisters; and many other family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Flash’s Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11 am. His greeting is from 10 to 10:55 am, at the funeral home. Entombment will be private in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA.
