James J. Tague

James J. "Jim" Tague passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 28, 2010, surrounded by his loving family at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. He was 82. Mr. Tague was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a draftsman and designer for the former GE Aerospace Co. in King of Prussia, PA for 35 years, until his retirement in 1992. Jim was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA and a social member of the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore and was always ready with a good joke. Jim loved cars, fixing old lawnmowers and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Tague was a US Navy veteran of WW II.Born in Pleasantville, NJ on May 31, 1927, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary Josephine (O'Brien) Tague. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 52 years, Isabelle J. (O'Dowd) Tague; three sons, James Tague, Jr. and his wife, Julie of Narberth, PA, Christopher Tague of Philadelphia, PA and Brian Tague of Silver Spring, MD; a daughter, Patricia Connolly and her husband, James of N. Wales, PA; two grandchildren, James Connolly and Laura Tague; a brother, Charles Tague and his wife, Marlene of San Diego, CA; and a sister, Cille Grohman of Summers Pointe, NJ. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Maryann "Polly" Gerety and Madalyn Tague.Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. John T. Conway, Pastor. His viewing will be on Wednesday morning from 10 to 10:50am, at the church.
