Jane Carol Termyna

Jane Carol Hess Termyna, 74, died Saturday, October 14, 2023, surrounded by all of her children in the comfort of her home in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer.

Jane was born July 12, 1949 in Jersey City, NJ, to Robert and Isabel (Cowan) Hess. She attended the former Madison Central High School in Old Bridge, NJ, class of 1967. She retired from PLCB in June, 2015.

Jane had a great love for fun and laughter, her family, and everyone she called a friend. Her grandchildren were the highlight of any day she was able to spend with them. And her undying love for her cousins was spoken of often.

Her kids affectionately referred to her as the "mayor" because she seemed to know everyone. She greeted people she knew with "Hi, love!" - a phrase that several grandkids have adopted as well.

Jane was predeceased by her parents, husband Richard Termyna, Sr. and grandson Michael Karol. She is survived and much missed by her children Jane Termyna of Greensburg, PA; Carol Goldberg of Old Bridge, NJ; Kathleen Wolfe & husband Robert of Jeannette, PA; Richard Termyna, Jr. & wife Ana of Old Bridge, NJ; and Jaclyn Tully & husband Brian of Fairless Hills, PA; Siblings Maryann Cummings & husband Peter of Easton, PA; and Robert Hess & wife Lisa of New Bern, NC. Jane is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 4 nieces.
