Janet L. Capaldo

Janet L. (Droneburg) Capaldo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Seasons Hospice in Phoenixville, PA. She was 74. Mrs. Capaldo was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as an executive secretary for Philadelphia Gear and later as a receptionist for Expressions Salon. Janet was a member of the Afternoon Music Club in Phoenixville. She enjoyed bowling, competitive roller skating, and touring with Mike, her husband, on their Harley Davidson. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Upper Darby, PA on December 2, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Henry Eugene Arnold Droneburg and Thelma Louise (Smallwood) Droneburg. Surviving is her loving family including Michael J. Capaldo, her husband of 53 years; Michael J. Capaldo, a son and Brandy, his wife, of Collegeville, PA; three daughters: Denise Cook and Stephen, her husband, of Harleysville, PA, Dawn Capaldo of Villanova, PA and Diane Reynolds and Keith, her husband, of Wyncote, PA; nine grandchildren: Abigail, Hayley, Stephen, Maximillian, August, Joseph, Skyler, Gianna and Nicolette; Henry E. Droneburg, II, her brother, of Gilbertsville, PA; Jo Ann Fritz, her sister, of Glenmore, PA; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by Robert L. Droneburg, her brother. Relatives and friends are invited to Janet’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 am. Her viewings will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Monday morning from 9 to 10:45 am, at the church. Entombment will be private in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s memory to the Afternoon Music Club, c/o the First United Methodist Church, 865 S. Main St., Phoenixville, PA 19460.
