Janet E. Zeltner

Janet Elizabeth (nee Jackson) Zeltner passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Janet was 70, but in her heart she was 35. She was a resident of Croydon, PA. Her personality was so bright and bubbly, she was the funniest, most loving person. Janet loved the beach, found peace at the ocean, enjoyed camping, traveling with her adventurous girlfriends and of course, her happy hours. She was a fiercely devoted mother and sister, a dedicated mom mom, a lively aunt and a loyal friend to many. Janet truly lived her best life, especially these past couple of years. Her compassionate, caring, vivacious personality will be greatly missed by all.

Born in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, PA on February 7, 1954, Janet was a daughter of the late Warren Francis and Elizabeth (Behr) Jackson.

Surviving is her loving family including her husband, Donald F. Zeltner; her daughter, Kelly Zeltner (Andre Malave); her son, Donald F. (Erin) Zeltner, Jr.; 5 grandchildren: Jason, Jr. “Boo”, Izzabella, Olivia, Maddox and Andre, Jr.; sister, Michele (Luis) Cabezas; and her grand-pups, Tonka and Chewy; as well as many other friends who were considered family to her.

Janet is preceded in death by her beautiful and precious daughter, Dayna Marie; 3 rowdy brothers, Warren Jackson, Howard Jackson and Michael Jackson.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Janet’s viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 10am to 12pm. Her prayer service will begin at 12pm.
