Janice Ellen Martin

Janice Ellen Martin, 69, of Palmyra, NJ passed away Tuesday, February 14th, 2023, at home surrounded by family

Janice was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 24, 1954, a daughter of the late M. Jane Gerhardt and William Robert Martin.

Janice was a very active member at Calvary Chapel Philadelphia, and gave endless hours helping various charities and individuals.

After graduating from Cherry Hill West High school, Janice went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from West Chester University and later Temple University.

She taught and coached at Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ for many years, then Larchmont Elementary School in Mt. Laurel, NJ for over 20 years before retiring in 2014.

Janice will be dearly missed by her two sisters, Jayne Frain-Montgomery, and Candace Martin, both of Ephrata, PA; and her brother, David Martin of Clayton, NJ. She will also be terribly missed by her nieces Lily Montgomery, Alexis Montgomery and Delaney Montgomery, as well as her brother in law Justin Montgomery, all of Ephrata, PA. Janice will also be missed by her many cousins.

Family will receive relatives and friends from 10 AM to 11 AM and a Religious Service will be held at 11 AM both on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia 13500 Philmont Ave.in Philadelphia, PA. 19116
