Jean Ann Gallagher Middleton

Jean Ann (Lacy) Gallagher Middleton passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2022 surrounded by her family at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. She was 85. Jean Ann was a homemaker and lifelong employee at her family friend’s restaurant in King of Prussia, Vito’s Pizza Shop. She was a Life Member of The Good Will Fire Co. in Bridgeport, PA. Jean Ann enjoyed watching the Phillies & Eagles, gardening, shopping, but her greatest love was being with her family and friends.

Born in Cold Point, PA on February 4, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Elwood S. and Wilhelmina (Haebler) Lacy. Jean was the wife of the late George Gallagher who died in 1976 and the late Robert H. Middleton who died in 2001.

Surviving are her loving family including her 5 children, Michael B. Gallagher, Sr. (Tracey), James P. Gallagher (Karen), Kathleen (James) Davis, John E. Gallagher (Kathy) and Eileen M. Gallagher (Robert Nieves); 9 grandchildren: Michael Jr., Christopher, Ryan, David, Matthew, Dianna, and Emily Gallagher, Thane Tagg Jr. & David and Mark Stipa; 14 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Brandon, Christopher, Scott, Zachary, Connor, Grace, Guiliana, Carter, Morgan, Charlotte, Layla, Patrick, and Jackie; 5 brothers, Horace, Richard, Harry, David, and Kevin Lacy; 3 sisters, Charlotte DeHaven, Sandy Mease, and Betsy Diamond; and many other loving family members. She is preceded in death in addition to her two husbands, 2 brothers, Robert and Donald Lacy.

Family of Jean Ann may attend her visitation at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am. Inurnment will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in King of Prussia, PA
