Jean A. (Gramlich) Klaiber passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Klaiber was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Art Shirt Co. of Bridgeport, PA and Conshohocken, PA. Jean was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, attending her grandchildren's activities, meeting monthly with her St. Henry sorority sisters, reading and doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Jean was also known for her green thumb.Born in Neshaminy Falls, PA on September 22, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Mary C. (Holt) Gramlich. She attended St. Henry's Parish School and Little Flower High School, Class of 1945. Before moving to King of Prussia, she resided in Northeast Philadelphia, PA and was a parishioner of St. Matthew's Church. Surviving are her loving family including her husband of 56 years, Robert B. Klaiber, Sr.; a son, Robert B. Klaiber, Jr. and his wife, Tracey of Wayne, PA; 4 daughters, Regina Mingle and her husband, Jack of Chester Springs, PA, Donna Dardozzi and her husband, Louis of Green Lane, PA, Cheryl Timmins and her husband, Thomas III of Kimberton, PA and Teresa Friskey and her husband, John of King of Prussia, PA; 16 grandchildren: Rebecca, Philip, Matthew, Christopher, Ryan, Sean, Joshua, Kristen, Michael, Eric, Marissa, Thomas IV, Tyler, John, Robert and Meghan; 2 great-grandchildren, Caelan and Talulla; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Harry, Albert and Martin; and 3 sisters, Elaine Kaelin, Loretta Rozsar, Lucille Sheridan and infant sisters, Madeline and Elizabeth. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 10:30am. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. John T. Conway, Pastor. Her viewings are Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm, at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 and Friday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the church. Interment in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's memory to Mother of Divine Providence Church Building Fund, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Fund, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.www.bacchicourtney.com
