Jean Alice (Kutz) Knoebel

Estelle "Jean" Alice (Kutz) Knoebel passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 86. Mrs. Knoebel worked in telephone communications for the former National Liberty Co. She was a member of the Upper Merion Baptist Church in King of Prussia, PA and the Upper Merion Senior Center. Jean enjoyed reading, bowling, swimming, gardening and doing word puzzles. She also loved the Phillies and college basketball, especially March Madness. Born in Norristown, PA on July 10, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Earl R. and Ethel (Shirar) Kutz. Surviving is her loving family including a son, Steven Earl Knoebel of Absecon, NJ; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Knoebel-Kelly and her husband, Terry, of King Manor, PA and Beth Knoebel-Wharen of Reading, PA; 11 grandchildren: Kelly, Jenny, Terry Jr., Shannon, Kristen, Melissa, Michelle, Sarah, Robbie, Daniel and Faith; 12 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Justin, Caelan, Jackson, Asha, Charlie, Kelsea, Talulla, Matthew, Kalonji, Jasper and Emerald; a sister, Eleanor L. Kutz-Sarabun of Wallingford, PA; 1 nephew and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen L. Knoebel-McKelvey. Jean's Funeral Service will be held at the Upper Merion Baptist Church, 585 General Steuben Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives & friends on Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church.
