Jeanette (Giambrone) Billetta

Jeanette (Giambrone) Billetta passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Havertown, PA, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. Mrs. Billetta was a resident of Norristown, PA. She worked as a day care provider at Facenda-Whitaker in E. Norriton, PA for over 30 years. Jeanette was a member of Holy Saviour Church in Norristown, PA. She was also a social member of the Norristown Chapter of the DAV. Born in Norristown, PA on May 29, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Josephine (Santa Lucia) Giambrone. She was the wife of the late Silvestire ""Cease"" Billetta, who died in 1985. Surviving are her loving family including a daughter, Marie A. Fugo and her husband, Dr. Richard Fugo of Plymouth Meeting, PA; two sons, Mark P. Billetta and his wife, Bernadette of Bridgeport, PA and Charles J. Billetta and his wife, Michelle of Elverson, PA; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicole, Eric, Andrew, Mario and Dominic; one great-grandson, Benjamin; two sisters, Mary Barker of Somerdale, NJ and Josephine Santangelo of King of Prussia, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Iacone, Pauline Evangelista and Rose Giambrone; and two brothers, Joseph Giambrone and the Rev. Charles Giambrone. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Holy Saviour Church, 409 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19401 on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 10:00am. Her viewing will be Monday morning from 8:30 to 9:50am, at the church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, East Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette's memory to Holy Saviour Church, 409 E. Main St., Norristown, PA 19403 and/or in the form of Mass Cards.
