Jeannette E. Sandman

Jeannette E. (Custer) Sandman passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Kennedy University Hospital in Turnersville, NJ. She was 86. Mrs. Sandman was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of the former St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Jeannette enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing Scrabble, baking and taking care of her family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on November 7, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Yauches) Custer. She was the wife of the late Neil Eugene Sandman, who died in 2015. Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Linda Giordano and her husband, Joe Puca; two sons, Neil F. Sandman and his wife, Ellyn, and David Sandman and his wife, Valerie; eight grandchildren: Donna, Gregory, Matthew, Nicole, Carla, Lennie, Brooke and Tyler; eight great-grandchildren: Arianna, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Anthony Joseph (AJ), Hannah, Joseph, Sierra and Kylie; a sister, Marian Graffon; and many other loving family members. Relatives & friends are invited to Jeannette’s Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 10:00 am. Her viewing is Thursday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jeannette’s memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 225 City Line Avenue, Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 and/or the Fighting Back Scholarship Program, 400 E.
