On Sunday, June 27, 2021 Jennifer Marie Holmwood (Russo) passed away peacefully at her home at the age of 38. Jennifer was born to James Morley Holmwood III and Janice Lockner (Holmwood-Dant) on March 15, 1983 in Drexel, PA. She was preceded in death by her father James Holmwood III. She is survived by her husband, Joey Russo; her brother, James Holmwood (Olga); sisters, Devon Dant (David), Rachael Holmwood, Sara Holmwood, Sam Russo, Hannah Russo and Kelly Ann Russo; her children Aubrey Holmwood, Carter Russo and Nature Love; her parents, Janice and Kevin Dant; and in-laws, Kathy and Steve Russo; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jennifer was a devoted wife, mother, sister and loving daughter. She was a very compassionate woman willing to share her love to all. Jennifer was always willing to reach out and rescue friends, family, strangers and animals when she saw them in distress. She touched so many lives. Jennifer was always willing to open her heart and doors to all that were in need of help or attention and made them all feel loved. She left enough love to last a lifetime. Jennifer was so pure and did so much for everyone. Over her lifetime, we are not sure how many people that she invited to live with her while they were recovering from some tragedy in their lives. She would literally give them the clothes off her back and food from her table. On one occasion while driving her daughter to school she noticed a young girl that did not have shoes or a winter jacket. She stopped the car and took a pair of her daughter’s shoes and coat that she had in her car and gave them to the girl. Another time while in a restaurant with her daughter, the waitress loved her shoes and Jennifer gave them to her and left the restaurant in bare foot. Jennifer had a beautiful smile; a fun infectious laugh and her positive energy filled the room – just watching her lifted your spirits. She loved to dance and express her emotions to others as she did. She gave the greatest hugs, and loved to snuggle her face in your neck and give you warm sloppy kisses. Jennifer was a very accomplished, talented and well-respected beautician by all her peers and clients. She was very ambitious and started her business, JMH Hair Salon, and was highly referred and requested by many. She made each of her clients feel special and always exceeded their expectations as they left her salon feeling more beautiful than when they arrived. She loved doing bridal parties, graduations, proms and special events -- that was her specialty.
