Jennifer Young

Jennifer B. Young, 54, of Jenkintown, PA passed away Thursday, October 26th, at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health, Abington. Jennifer was a wonderful person who touched many lives. She was born on January 28, 1969, in Abington, PA. She was a devoted daughter to Edward F Bringhurst and the late Marjory Bringhurst (Veda).

Jennifer was a nurse who dedicated her life to helping others. She started her career at Abington Hospital and then moved to the outpatient setting. She was very dedicated to her career. She was a loving wife to Bryan Young, a caring sister to Heather Johnson and sister-in-law to Dave Johnson. She was an adoring Aunt to Chase Johnson. Jennifer loved spending time with her family and dogs, Bentley, and Harper. She had an amazing sense of humor and always kept people laughing. She enjoyed decorating the apartment with unique items from “This Little Gallery” in Jenkintown, PA. Cape May, New Jersey was her favorite place to vacation. Christmas was her favorite holiday. The Christmas tree went up right after Halloween! She had a passion for reading, for the Phillies and New York Yankees and for watching scary movies. Jennifer was an extremely generous person who always went above and beyond to help others. She will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held at All Hallows Episcopal Church 262 Bent Road Wyncote, PA 19095 on November 4, 2023, from 9:00am to 10:00am, followed by a religious service at 10:00am.  After the service, all are welcome to continue outside for her graveside service also held at All Hallows Episcopal Memorial Garden.

Services will be entrusted to the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home.
