Jeremiah "Jerry" J. Jones

Jeremiah “Jerry” J. Jones passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 93. Mr. Jones was a longtime resident of King of Prussia and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church. He worked as a cartographer for many years, starting with Franklin Survey and then Vernon Graphics in Norristown PA, with whom he retired in 1992. Jerry was an outdoorsman and throroughly enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.

Born in Mahonoy City, PA on April 20, 1930, he was a son of the late John Joseph and Wanda (nee Wycoski) Jones. He was also the husband of the late Elizabeth Ann (nee Newberger), who passed away in 2019.

Jerry is survived by his loving family including his son, William J. Jones (Donna-Joy); 2 daughters, Patricia Griffith (Paul Glenn) and Karen Jones Pilcicki; 3 grandchildren, Laura Roman (Michael), Leo M. Griffith (Marna), and Scott Griffith (Alison); 6 great grandchildren, Grace, Lily, Chase, Charla, Vanna, and Pippa; brother, John “Jack” Jones (Vicki); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jerry is preceded in death by his grandson, Jeff Pilcicki; son-in-law, Leo E. Griffith; brother, Joseph Jones; and his sister, Violet Squadrito.

The family will receive relatives and friends at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 10-11:00am; with a prayer service beginning at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
