Jerome Thomas Horihan

Horihan Jerome Thomas Horihan “Jerry”, age 83, of Philadelphia, PA passed peacefully on April 26, 2019 in Jenkintown, PA. Jerome was born in Conshohocken, PA on March 1, 1936, a son of the late Alice Zappola (Cassey) and Thomas F. Horihan. Jerry is survived by his daughters Jennifer Crumley (Scott) and Shannon Bellew (Matt) and his grandchildren Ava, Ella Mae, Jeffrey, Matthew, Maeve and Maxwell as well as his siblings Larry Horihan (Stella) and Jack Zappola (Sally) and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jerry was predeceased by his children Jerome T. Horihan, Jr. and Gertrude Horihan and six siblings. Jerome served in the United States Army and worked as a foreman for Ford Motor Company. Among Jerry’s many interests, he was devoted to his family and loved dogs, Philly sports, particularly the Eagles and Phillies, and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 from 9:30 until 10:20 AM followed by his funeral Mass immediately after at 10:30 AM, both at Immaculate Conception BVM Church, 602 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Presby’s Inspired Life, Department of Mission Support, 2000 Joshua Road, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444, Attn: Joseph C.
