Jerry William Moore passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2011, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Crossville, Tennessee. He was 58. Mr. Moore was formerly of Collegeville, PA. He worked as a supervisor at B & C Heating/Air and B.F. Goodrich, both in Oaks, PA. Jerry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved going to casinos and yard sales with his wife, gardening and woodworking. He also enjoyed participating in the gun club with his son and visiting his daughter in Florida. He was known as ""Tractor Poppop"" to his grandchildren because he enjoyed taking them for rides on his tractor. Born in Norristown, PA on May 24, 1953, he was a son of the late Ellsworth Moore and Hazel (Eckman) Weingartner. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Linda (Dougherty) Moore; a son, Christopher Moore and his wife, Heather of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Jenna Zimmer and her husband, Bill of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, William and Samantha; and a brother, Robert Moore and his wife, Inge of Phoenixville, PA. He was preceded in death by Joseph Weingartner and Charles Moore. Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry's Graveside Service at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 10:00am. Please assemble at the cemetery office at 9:45am, for procession to the gravesite. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's memory to the Hospice of Cumberland County, 30 East Adams Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
