Jerry L. Redman

Jerry Lee Redman went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2014 after a long battle with MS. He was born on July 14, 1937 in Benton Harbor to Eli and Esther Redman. He is survived by his wife, Carole (Bodtke) Redman; a sister, Beverly of CA; daughters: Rebecca, Elisabeth, and Abigail; son, Daniel; and 3 grandchildren: Kerrie, Seth and Caleb. He was predeceased by a sister, Karen, in 1957.Jerry graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1955. He attended the University of Missouri on a naval scholarship, earning his BS in mechanical engineering, and later earned his MBA from Michigan State. He served in the US navy for 9 years, and retired from GE and Lockheed Martin in 1996, where he had worked as a mechanical engineer. He served as a Sunday school teacher all his life. Jerry and Carole celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on August 8, 2014.Memorial gifts may be made to Pioneers with a note enclosed "for Jerry Redman Memorial".
