Jessica Erin Hughes

Jessica "Jessie" Erin Hughes passed away suddenly on Monday, March 9, 2015, as the result of a car accident in Delaware Co. She was 32. Jessie was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and was previously of Edgewood, Maryland. She worked as an executive administrative assistant for Shire Pharmaceuticals for the past 10 years. Jessie was a graduate of Edgewood High School, Class of 2000, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and the French National Honor Society. She also attended Harford Community College in Bel Air, MD. Jessie was a member of Hope Community Church in King of Prussia, PA.Born in Baltimore, MD on June 8, 1982, she was a beloved daughter of William "Bill" James Hughes and his wife, Marilyn Swantkowski-Hughes of Edgewood, MD and Cheryl Peele and her husband, Tom Wooldridge of E. Machias, ME. Surviving in addition to her parents is a brother, Neal W. Hughes of Charlotte, NC; and her beloved cats: Violet, Georgie and Diddles.Relatives and friends are invited to Jessie's viewing at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6 to 8:00 pm. There will also be a viewing at the McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Rd., Abingdon, MD 21009 on Saturday evening from 6 to 9:00 pm. Interment will be in Maryland.
