Jill Ann McCarthy, 78, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Nazareth Hospital.

Jill was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 9, 1947, the daughter of the late Constance (nee Rogers) and Joseph Bird. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael McCarthy, with whom she is now reunited.

Sister to Pat, Nancy, Ken, Greg, and Susie.

Jill adored her family and cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Michele McCarthy, Carolyn J. Tedder, Cheryl A.Tedder, and Cynthia M. Tedder.

Jill was the proud Grandmother of Maxwell, Madison, Gabrielle, Anthony, Michael, Julianna (Daniel Mitchell), Abigail, and Grace, and the adoring great-grandmother of Gabriel.

She will be deeply missed by a wide circle of relatives and dear friends whose lives she touched with her gentle spirit.

Family and friends are invited to Jill’s visitation on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by her memorial service at 11:00 AM, all held at Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Avenue, Bensalem, PA 19020.
