Jim (Gianmarino) J. DeGuiseppi passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at ManorCare Health Services in King of Prussia, PA. He was 91. Mr. DeGuiseppi was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA, where he was a member of the church's Congretta and Holy Name Society, and he was an usher at weekly mass. Jim worked as a structural steel layout worker for the former Allen Wood Steel Co. in Plymouth, PA, until his retirement in 1978. He was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 47 in Uniontown, PA. Jim was an US Army Veteran of WWII, serving from 1943 to 1946 in the European Theatre of Operations.Born in Bridgeport, PA on December 19, 1923, he was a son of the late Orizio and Mary (Collins) DeGuiseppi. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 67 years and 9 months, Adeline M. "Dolly" (Cinaglia) DeGuiseppi; and many other loving family members and friends. Relatives & friends are invited to Jim's Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Worship Site, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 10:00am. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9 to 9:50am, at the worship site. Interment will be private at the request of the familyIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Suite 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 and/or the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter, 399 Market St., Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
