Joan Elaine Clay, 77, of Trooper, PA, passed away on Friday, July 2nd, 2021 at her residence while in the company of her loving family. Joan was born in Norristown, PA on February 13, 1944, a daughter of the late Sally Mae (Grater) and Abram P. Beswick. She was the Beloved wife of the late Thomas F., Loving mother of Kerry L., Kenton T. and Denise E. Dyer (husband Kenneth); Devoted Grandmother of Thomas Dyer and Kenneth Dyer III. Joan is also survived by her dear sister Mary Jane Rees (wife of the late James C.) and preceded in death by a brother, the late Abram P. Beswick (survived by wife Ellen). Joan was also the loving Aunt to Roderick B. Rees, James C. Rees and her devoted niece Mindy (Beswick) Iannacone. She loved her family and home above all. Through the years, she enjoyed her flower gardens. The beautiful smells and colors always brightened her days. Watching the many different birds as well as rabbits, squirrels, deer and even fox were always enjoyable. Much fun was to be had playing cards and board games, especially with her two grandsons…no matter if she won or lost! In her own words, those boys were her pride and joy. They kept her world full of love and laughter. She was a life long member of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church Eagleville, PA. Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM and a Religious Service will be held at on Thursday, July 8th starting at 11:00 AM both at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church 3050 West Ridge Pike in Eagleville, PA 19403. Interment to follow at Limerick Garden of Memories, Swamp Pike, Limerick, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lower Providence Presbyterian Church.
