Joan A. Connor

Joan A. Connor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 79. Ms. Connor worked as an administrative assistant for Montgomery Family Practice and the CertainTeed Corp. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, where she was a member of the Legion of Mary. Joan also volunteered at Valley Forge National Park. Born in Darby, PA on July 21, 1934, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Sarah A. (McCauley) Connor. Surviving is her loving family including a brother, John J. Connor and his wife, Jean, of Broomall, PA; two sisters, Mary T. Connor and Florence C. Connor, both of King of Prussia, PA; a niece, Donna (Michael) Conrad; four nephews: John Connor & Michael (Michelle) Connor and William (Lisa) Gow & Richard Gow; and a cousin, Charles Kennedy. She was preceded in death by a sister, Priscilla M. Gow.Joan's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9:30 to 10:50am, at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 and/or Montgomery Home Care & Hospice, 25 W.
