Joan M. Kline

Joan M. Kline (nee Quinn), 91, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on February 4, 1934, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Paul V. and Grace C. (Pross) Quinn, Joan was preceded in death by her brothers Paul, Donald, David, and sister Mary.

Cherished for 91 years, Joan is survived by her children Paul (Tina Semethy), Bobby (Cindy), Elizabeth, Cathy Dahl (Darren), Donna Porter (Jody), and Donald Kline (Mary). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her beloved Littles: Bindi, Calvin, and Murphy.

Joan enjoyed cooking and often shared her recipes with her children. She enjoyed reading and doing seek-and-find books. While raising her children, she ran a corner store in South Philly, and later in Fishtown. Joan treasured holidays and special occasions with her family. A devoted Catholic, she faithfully recited the rosary multiple times a day.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Avenue, Jenkintown, PA, 19046 on Thursday, May 22nd from 6-8 pm. Another viewing will be held on Friday, May 23rd from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. James Church 8320 Brookside Road, Elkins Park, PA 19027, followed by her funeral mass at 11:00 AM.
