Joanne Fountain

Joanne Marie (Miraglia) Fountain passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at her home in Skippack surrounded by her family. She was 66. Joanne started a career in education but then decided to spend her time at home raising her 5 children. You could often find Joanne outside at the pool or on the beach with a beer in one hand, and a cigarette in the other. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA on September 20, 1955, to the late Dr. Vincent and Rosemary (Lendl) Miraglia. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 40 years, Don W. Fountain; 3 sons: D. Vincent (Jennifer), Nicholas (Nancy), and Cody (Taylor); 2 daughters, Miranda McClellan (Brian) and Amber Barron (Jerome); and her brother, John Miraglia (B.J.). She was the beloved Nanny Jo of 10 grandchildren: Matthew, Zeus, Rylee, Anthony, Luke, Aiden, Brayden, Crew, Harlee, and Dominic. Along with her family, Joanne will be terribly missed by many friends who were considered family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1 to 2:00 pm; followed by her Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joanne’s memory to the Pennsylvania Humane Society at humanepa.org.
