John F. Barrett

Mr. John F. Barrett, 90, of Glenside, passed away Monday, June 7th, 2010 peacefully. Mr. Barrett was born in Scranton, PA on January 4, 1920, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Kinsella) Barrett.  He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II.   He worked at Luden's for 28 years retiring in 1987.  John was a proud member of Eagle Forum and He was a member of St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church.   He was the beloved husband of Beatrice R. (O'Donnell) Barrett. whom he married on 6-12-1948 in Wilkes Barre, PA. He has lived in Glenside for over 60 years.   Loving father of Mark (Nannette) and Drew.  Dear Grandfather of Caitlin, Ann Marie, Theresa and Elizabeth.  Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Thursday 7-9 PM   and Friday 9:30-10:30 AM   at the William R.
