John C. Campbell, Sr.

John C. Campbell, Sr., of Great Mills, MD, formerly of Philadelphia for 84 years, passed away on August 21, 2024 peacefully at his residence in Maryland.

John was born in Conshohocken, PA on January 5, 1935, a son of the late Grace Elise (Albright) and Charles Edgar Campbell. He was the loving father of the late John C. Campbell, Jr. and beloved husband of the late Eugenia Aqualina (Greco) Campbell.

John graduated from Overbrook High School in 1952 and worked as a Lineman & Installer at Bell Telephone / AT&T for 33 years before retiring in 1996. He was a former member of St. Leo the Great Church in Philadelphia, PA.

John is survived by his daughter; Jeannie Krizovensky (Jack), and sons; James L. (Francine) and Joseph J. (Diane). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, August 27th from 9:15- 10:45 AM and to his funeral mass at 11 AM both at St. Dominic Church 8504 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19136. His interment will be held there at St. Dominic Cemetery.
