Mike

John Michael “Mike” Dobrowolski passed away on January 12, 2022 with his loving wife by his side. Born on December 10, 1960, on a US Army base in Hamburg, Germany, Mike was the son of the late John and Elfrieda (Schuberth) Dobrowolski. The family moved to Delaware in 1970 and Mike attended the local schools including William Penn High School (class of ’79). Mike had a varied working career including many years as a commercial truck driver. Mike liked the outdoors and spent his spare time hunting and fishing whenever he could. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching his Green Bay Packers. In addition to his parents, Mike was also predeceased by his sister Shirley Larson. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Carol Dobrowolski, step-daughter Margaret Jewell of Maine, granddaughters Grace & Norah Jewell, brother Gene (Kelly) Dobrowolski of Bear, sister Connie Minton of Georgia, and seven nieces and nephews.
