John P. "Jack" Donnelly

John P. (“Jack”) Donnelly passed away on November 15, 2019. He was 80 years old. He was the beloved husband of Susan Gruhler Donnelly for 54 wonderful years. Jack was born in Philadelphia on January 28, 1939 to the late John P. Donnelly and Catherine ‘Fenzil’ Donnelly. He was the brother of the late Kathleen Witkowski. In addition to his wife Sue, he is survived by his son, Brian Donnelly and daughter, Jennifer LoCasto (Joe) and his 6 treasured grandchildren, Alex, Adriana, Joe, Logan, Evan and Lily. He graduated from LaSalle College High School and LaSalle University. He also served in the Air Force Reserves. He worked in all facets of real estate for the majority of his career. He was an avid boater his entire life and loved the Chesapeake Bay area. Sue and him purchased a home on the water on Still Pond Creek in Maryland 20 years ago and have spent most summers and weekends since entertaining friends and family at their property. Jack was a devout Catholic and an active member of Immaculate Conception BVM parish in Jenkintown, PA as well as a frequent attendee at Sacred Heart Parish in Chestertown, MD. He is now reunited in Heaven with his parents, sister, family members and many friends who predeceased him. Public Visitation will be held from 0930-10:20 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, both on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. His Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
