John P. Farris

Farris, John P. (Jack), of Meadowbrook, PA, passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017, just shy of his 85th birthday. He was the beloved husband of M. Patricia Farris (nee Browne) for 57 years and devoted father of Patrick (Frances), Colleen Weaver (Charles), John (Katherine), Thomas (Colleen) and James (Monica). Loving and proud grandfather of 14. Son of the late Patrick and Catherine (Morahan) Farris and predeceased by two sisters, Catherine Connelly and Ann Farris. Jack graduated from La Salle College High School in 1950 and La Salle University in 1954. He was a good friend and had great wit. He especially enjoyed his 32-year tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles as a game day on-the-field “spotter.” Faith-filled, loyal and true, Jack will be greatly missed and in our hearts, forever. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9 to 11 A.M., Wednesday May 31, 2017, at St. Hilary of Poitiers Church, 820 Susquehanna Road, Rydal, PA 19046, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M.
