John Edward Finkowski

John Edward Finkowski Jr passed away in his home in Collegeville, Pa on Friday, February 4rd, 2022. He was 59 years old. John was married to his best friend Eileen Rush. John was born in New Britain, CT on September 25, 1962. He was the son of the late John Finkowski and Joan Zemalis. He attended schools in PA in the Spring-Ford Area school district. He enlisted in the navy in 1980 and served out of CT. He held jobs in telecommunications at Alco Standard, Certaineed, Sungard, and Verzion business for nearly 30 years. In earlier years, he worked at Risher Van Horn Florist as a contractor handyman. John received a bachelor’s degree in cyber security from Colorado Technology University. John was an avid guitar player and practiced kung fu. He loved to water ski and snow ski. He coached his daughter’s little league tee-ball and softball teams in the mid-90s. John loved his muscle cars, from his Firebird, Buick Grand National, and Shelby GT. He has been a Minnesota Vikings fan since the 70’s. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Jessica Finkowski and Erica Odom. He was preceded in death by his brother Vincent J. Finkowski.
