John “Jack” Hamlin Jr. 90 of Eagleville died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Greenfield Senior Living Center Schwenksville. He was born in Philadelphia on March 31, 1926. Son of the late John Hamlin Sr. and Hazel Larson. He lived in Eagleville for the last 60 years. He was a Navy WWII vet. He was a retired Machinist from Synthane Taylor. He worked there for 44 years. He enjoyed traveling on his motorcycle with his wife and covered 48 states. Predeceased in death by a daughter Deborah Moore. He is survived by his wife Thelma (Nee Jenkins) and daughter Sharon Andrien (Gene) of Narvon, sons John Hamlin III (Suzanne) of Salford and James Hamlin of Eagleville, sister Hazel Knappenberger, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, June 20, 2016 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home 101 N. Park Ave (Route 363 Trooper) Norristown, PA 19403 from 10 am – 11 am. A Funeral service will follow at 11 am. Interment will be at Wentz’s Church Cemetery in Skippack, PA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
