John R. 'Jenks' Jenkins

John R. "Jenks" Jenkins passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA on Sunday, August 10, 2014. He was 61. Jenks was a retired laborer for Local 135 Laborers Union in Norristown, PA. He was a member of the Conshohocken Softball and Dart Leagues. Jenks was born in Norristown, PA on March 20, 1953, a son of the late Raymond H. and Nadine C. (Haines) Jenkins. He is survived by his loving family including his wife of 34 years, Margaret T. "Peg" (Wilson) Jenkins; two daughters, Melissa A. (David) Jenkins-Phongphachone of Jeffersonville, PA and Sara M. Jenkins of King of Prussia, PA; two brothers, Richard H. (Barbara) Jenkins of Schwenksville, PA and Edward (Peg) Jenkins of Audubon, PA; four sisters: Eleanore (Gene) Rozinski of Oaks, PA, Blanche Averell of Fl, Evelyn Grantham of VA and Rachel (Carroll) Davis of King of Prussia, PA; many other loving family members and three loving grand puppies. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Chrin. Jenks Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St.(Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:30am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning from 9am to 10:20am, at the funeral home. Interment private.
