John Dennis Keohane

John Dennis Keohane passed away peacefully on Friday, December 1, 2017, surrounded by his family at Gwynedd Square Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Lansdale, PA. He was 86. Mr. Keohane was a resident of Norristown, PA. He was a Corporate Vice-President in charge of internal audit for CertainTeed Corporation. John was a past president of S.E.P.I.A. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, getting together with friends and was a regular attendee of the “Friday Lunch Bunch”. John was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 20, 1931, he was a son of the late James F. and Alice (Hogarty) Keohane. Surviving is his family including his wife of 20 years, Nancy H. (Andriole) Keohane; 2 sons, John (Sara) Keohane of Villanova, PA and Kevin (Joanne) Keohane of Richmond, VA; 2 daughters, Karen Weikel of Pottstown, PA and Susan Keohane of Schwenksville, PA; 2 step-daughters, Colleen Wells of Norristown, PA and Karen Fellin of Royersford, PA; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, James “Sam” (Joanne) Keohane of Treasure Island, FL and William “Bunker” (Eleanor) Keohane of Elysburg, PA; and 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Feeney of Norristown, PA and Norman Taylor of Dushore, PA. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Margaret Mary Keohane, Alice Feeney, Helen Taylor. Relatives and friends are invited to John’s viewing at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:50 am, with his Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, E. Norriton, PA.
