John L. Lindell, Jr.

John L. Lindell, Jr., 76, of Glenside, PA passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 peacefully, at Abington Hospital-Jefferson Health, Abington. John was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 25, 1945, a son of the late Arlene (Daniels) and John Leon Lindell, Sr, He was the beloved husband of Ellen (Lydon) Lindell. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a Pizza Maker at Tony's Place for many years before Retiring in 2016. John is survived by his wife Ellen, his loving children Timothy (Lauren), Julia McGettigan (Jack), William, Melissa Groves (Josh), and Daniel (Monica). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and his sister, Jane Nobile. A Public Viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 AM and a religious service will be held at 11 AM, both on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arthur V. Savage American Legion Post 100, Wyndmoor, PA.
