John J. Louden March 4, 1929 – May 1, 2021 John (Jack) J. Louden, Age 92 of Wilmington Delaware, beloved husband of Dolores J. (Loringer) was called home on May 1st, 2021. He was predeceased by his one and only love, Dolores with whom he shared 64 years of marriage. Jack was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania; the son of John and Mary (nee Reed) Louden. He was a graduate of John Bartram High School, proudly served in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper and was a master meat-cutter for A&P for over 35 years. He was a convert; his faith was unshakable and he was a beautiful example of what it is to be Christlike. He also danced a “mean” jitterbug. He was adored by his 8 children: Dolores Burke (Jack), John J. Louden (Lynne), Donald J. Louden (Marlene), William R. Louden (Bernadette), Theresa Benedetti (Gino), Timothy C. Louden, Joseph A. Louden (Ellen), Jennifer Jung (Jeff), 27 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Jack will be deeply missed by his sister Doris and brother William (Sally), sister in laws Jean Mc Clintock, Mary Grady, Judy Loringer and Cecilia Skalish and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Saturday, May 8th 12:30 pm for a mass of Christian Burial at St. Helena Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington De. Mass will also be livestreamed on the St. Helena Facebook page. Family will receive friends after Mass. Interment will be private at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
