John F. Maguire Obituary John F. (“Jack”) Maguire of West Norriton, PA, died on May 29, 2015. He was born on August 6, 1934. John was the only son of John P. and Rose Maguire (née Gillespie). He was preceded in death and is now reunited with his wife, Margaret E. Maguire (née Wrigley), parents, and a sister Roseanne Guiliano (née Maguire). John graduated from West Catholic High School in 1953. He served in the U.S. Army and worked a life-long career at Wonder Bread. He is remembered as a devoted husband, father, Pop, brother, uncle and friend. John is survived by his 4 daughters, Mary Maguire (Edward Scott), Margaret Breslin (Frank), Eileen Horst (Charles), and Kathleen Krieger (Steven); 6 grandchildren, Kevin and Megan Horst, Matthew, Margaret, and Daniel Krieger, and Grace Breslin; 3 step-grandchildren, Bridget Frosch, and Catherine and Kevin Scott; his sisters, Gertrude Connor (Edward), Sr. Marie Maguire, IHM, and Sr. Kathleen Maguire, IHM; many nieces and nephews. Jack will be remembered for his kindness, generous heart, and free spirit. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his family. Jack was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. His hobbies included antique cars, golfing, and hunting. Friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home at 101 N. Park Avenue, Trooper PA 19403, from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Buttonwood and Marshall Streets, Norristown PA 19401, from 9:30-10:50 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 a.m. His Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
