John W Munsey, Jr

John W. Munsey Jr. (77) passed away unexpectedly Thursday June 21,  2012 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.  He retired as supervisor of records from the Montgomery County District Attorney's office and previously worked for Wildman Jacquard.  He was an avid reader of the Times Herald newspaper and a crossword enthusiast who enjoyed living in Norristown with his niece Pam Knipe.  John was preceded in death by his parents John and Anna (Wagner) Munsey, his wife Julia (Knipe) Munsey and two grandsons. He is survived by a brother Joe Munsey of King of Prussia and his children,  John Munsey the 3rd of Las Vegas NV, David and his wife Susanne Munsey of Royersford, Sharon and husband Michael Hauptly of Reading , Kimberly Munsey of Norristown, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.  He will be remembered as father, grandfather and friend.  A viewing will be held Tuesday June 26th from 6pm to 8pm at Szpindor-Meyers funeral home, 101 N Park Ave. (Rt. 363) Trooper, Pa.  A Funeral service will held Wednesday June 27th at 11am.
