John W. Pettit

Pettit John W. January 24, 2011 of Holmesburg at age 87. Mr. Pettit was born in Phila., PA on October 15, 1923, the son of the late Francis and Bessie (Lee) Pettit.  He was the Beloved husband for 63 years of Margaret M (nee Mahoney) Pettit.  Loving father of John R. Pettit.  Devoted Grandfather of Andrea and Amanda. Brother of Donald Pettit and survived by many nieces and nephews.  John worked for Acme warehouse #4 for 43 years.
