John J. Vitale, Jr.

John J. Vitale, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. He was 61. Mr. Vitale was a resident of Norristown, PA. He worked as an assistant foreman for the PA Turnpike Commission. John was an avid fisherman and he enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. Born in Philadelphia, PA on August 3, 1951, he was a son of Mary Jane (Conti) Lewis of Norristown, PA and the late John J. Vitale, Sr. Surviving is his loving family including his mother; his wife of 42 years, Joann M. (Kushla) Vitale; two sons, John J. Vitale, III and his wife, Sandra, of Oaks, PA and Joseph M. Vitale and his wife, Hayli, of W. Norriton, PA; a daughter, Renee M. Yarnall and her husband, Michael, of Swedeland, PA; eight grandchildren; a great-grandson; a sister, Bernadette Helverson and her husband, Frank, of Coopersburg, PA; and many nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends are invited to John's Prayer Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St., (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00 am. His viewings are Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm; also Friday morning from 9 to 9:50 am, both at the funeral home.
